Hello, gentle readers and Happy Saturday to you. Thanks for your responses on my post yesterday on how to clean your windows and glass doors. But...I forgot to tell you one really important thing about the new method (head slap!) I forgot to tell you that you're supposed to wet the chamois cloth first rather than using it dry. The author of A Brit in Tennessee was kind enough to remind me last night that you need to wet the cloth in warm water, wring it out, and then start your cleaning. Spray with your window cleaner then wipe with a damp chamois cloth. Thank you, Jo, for your reminder on that!
My husband already knew to wet the cloth; as I mentioned he's been using these to polish his car for years. But I forgot to include that important step in my instructions yesterday, so I hope I haven't messed anyone up (just in case you were eager to get outside and wash windows in these 90 degree temperatures). ;) Wow it is so hot here in North Carolina!! But I'm trying to remember the things I love about summer and not complain (too much) about the heat.
